DOHA - Sweden's Embassy in Qatar lowered its flag to half-mast and expressed profound sorrow following the passing of His Highness Fther Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In an official statement, the embassy extended its deepest condolences to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Al Thani family, the government, and tthe people of Qatar during the national mourning period. The gesture symbolized Sweden's solidarity with Qatar and respect for the late Father Amir's legacy.
Diplomatic mission across Doha have joined in mourning, underscoring the international community's recognition of the Father Amir's contributions to Qatar's development and his role in strengthening global ties.
